Most Frequently Asked Questions about Books to Bowls

I love your page! How can I best support you?
Thank you so much! I work really hard to make sure that you find the best cookbooks and what would make me happiest would be to see you thrive in the kitchen! The next best way to support the Books to Bowls blog is that the next time you want to purchase a cookbook please consider purchasing them through the affiliate links on each post. The price is the same either way. Buying through them helps keep Books to Bowls afloat (and me in snacks) even if you purchase them used. Yes, used cookbooks are AMAZING. I'd say that 95% of all my cookbooks are used and they're all in near perfect condition. However, if your local bookstore has it, give them some love! They deserve it.
How often do you update your rankings?
You can expect a new post about once a week. I will be frequently updating existing posts as I try out new recipes from them, about 3ish recipes per week.
What factors criteria do you use to rank cookbooks and food writing books?

To rank cookbooks there are several factors that are considered. Mainly, does it taste good and would I make this for friends and family? Secondary criteria include: dirty dish counts, effort levels, ingredients cost and availability, recipe layout, and other small factors.

Food writing books are much less structured and much more based on vibe. I know that its not a perfect system, so I am working on a more robust way of ranking them. But for now, its just how I feel lol.
